Harry Kane, the captain of England, has stated that the missed penalty against France in the World Cup quarterfinal will have to be accepted.
Goldennewsng reports that after falling 2-1 to the champions, the Three Lions were eliminated from the tournament.
Kane had drawn his side level with a fruitful spot kick that saw him equivalent Wayne Rooney’s record count of 53 objectives for Britain.
After that, he missed a chance to tie the game at 2-2 by sending the second penalty over the crossbar.
Kane was comforted by England manager Gareth Southgate following the final whistle.
“I’m not somebody who contemplates it; I set up a similar whether I get one punishment or two punishments in a game.
“Neither my preparation nor the attention to detail before the game is to blame; Nothing seemed different. I took it with confidence, but I didn’t do it the way I wanted to, Kane said.
