Fresh Crisis Hits APC As 5 National Officers Cry Out, see full list below.
Some national officers of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have cried out over alleged marginalization by the national leadership of the party.
The national officers, who are all deputy national officers said since the coming on board of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the APC National Chairman, they have been sidelined in party activities.
They also complained that they have been excluded from getting some benefits that their counterparts have received saying they have not been included as members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) since the current leadership was inaugurated in March 2022.
Specifically, the national officers who are five in number added that they are not carried along in party activities, they didn’t get the N50 million housing allowance that their counterparts got, and also missed out on the official Lexus jeeps given to NWC members.
They also complained of non-inclusion in the party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The five deputies who have complained of injustice and marginalization are: Bolaji Alabi Edu, deputy national legal adviser; Olufemi Akpedeyi, deputy national auditor; Jamalu Kabir, deputy national youth leader; Omorede Osifo-Marshall, deputy national treasurer; and Christopher Akpan, deputy national welfare secretary.

They added in their complaint that the other five deputies, comprising the Deputy National Secretary, Festus Fuanter, Deputy National Financial Secretary, Hamma-Adama Ali Kumo, Deputy National Organizing Secretary, Nze Chidi Duru, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yakubu Murtala Ajaka, and Deputy National Women Leader, Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, were all drafted into the APC NWC and got corresponding benefits from the party but they were left out.
