LASU Direct Entry Requirements for Nursing Science:

If you intend to gain admission to study Nursing Science at Lagos State University (LASU) through the Direct Entry mode, the following requirements apply:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) obtained in a maximum of two (2) sittings.
  • Candidates must hold a degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields.
  • Direct entry candidates need to purchase the LASU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and LASU Portal.
  • Candidates are also required to have a minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
  • Other qualifications acceptable to the University Senate, equivalent to the above requirements. Additionally, candidates must satisfy the specific Faculty/Departmental entry requirements.

Cut-Off Mark for Nursing Science in LASU:

To secure admission to study Nursing at Lagos State University, candidates must achieve high scores in the JAMB examination. It is advisable for candidates to target a JAMB score of 250 and above to increase their chances of admission.
