The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) is a public research university located in Gusau, Zamfara State, Nigeria. It is a conventional, coeducational institution offering programs in both Arts-based and Science-based disciplines. FUGUS is one of the twelve new federal universities established in states where there were no existing universities.

We would like to notify the University community and the general public that the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) has established a minimum cut-off mark of 160 for admission into the University. This decision was made by the University Senate.

Furthermore, it has been agreed by the Senate that admission will be granted to candidates who successfully participate in the Post-UTME Screening exercise conducted by the institution.
