Goldennewsng.com recalls how Mercy Eke marked her two years on the reality show today as she expressed her appreciation to the organizers of one of the biggest TV shows in Africa for giving her a life-changing opportunity to pursue her dreams.
In response to Mercy’s celebration, actress Anita Joseph narrated her experience while scouting for votes for her favorite in the streets of Lagos as she opened up that she was hurled series of insults from people and bloggers when she went to the computer village to beg for votes.
Taking to Instagram, she said when Mercy emerged winner two years ago, she could not control her happiness, adding that she was overwhelmed and ran out to scream for joy while shaking.
She wrote:
All that my waka for computer village scouting for vote wasn’t easy 🥲blogs carried me insulted me bashed me hmmmm but me when I love and Stan eh no serpent can make me unstan 🙏
Oh mercy see on this day eh I was overwhelmed OMG I couldn’t stay at a place I ran out i was shaking oh my hubby then my bf wasn’t around 💃 then I and @realmumchomzy went out to celebrate I needed to scream outttt🎉 🎉🎉🎉still feels like yesterday !!
