Since its inception in 2010, the IFCD has made significant strides, investing over US$ 11.5 million in 152 projects spanning 71 developing countries.

Eligibility and Application
Public institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) hailing from eligible countries are encouraged to submit their proposals. Additionally, international NGOs registered in countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention are eligible to apply.
Eligible Projects:
The IFCD prioritizes projects that drive structural change through:
- Introducing and/or elaborating policies and measures impacting the creation, production, distribution, and access to a diversity of cultural expressions.
- Reinforcing human and institutional capacities of public sector and civil society organizations to support viable local and regional cultural industries and markets in developing countries.
