Important Dates:
- Commencement of ATBU Post UTME Registration: August, 2023.
- Closing Date for ATBU Post UTME Registration: September 30th to October 31st, 2023.
Eligibility:
- Only candidates who selected Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University as their first choice and scored 180 and above in the UTME are eligible to purchase the application form.
ATBU Post UTME Cut-Off Mark 2023:
- The cut-off mark for ATBU Post UTME is set at 180 for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Application Fee:
- The ATBU Post UTME Screening Form is priced at N2,000 only. Eligible candidates are required to make a non-refundable payment of N2,000 into the University Portal.
Screening Date:
- The specific screening date for ATBU Post UTME will be communicated to candidates via their respective emails and phone numbers. Therefore, it is crucial to provide accurate and valid contact details during registration.
Application Process:
To apply for the ATBU Post UTME Screening Form, follow these steps:
- Visit the ATBU post UTME screening website at www.atbu.edu.ng/screening.
- Use your JAMB registration number as the username.
- Generate the REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) and proceed to make a payment of N2,000 as the screening fee into the ATBU account using any preferred bank.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph.
- Fill out the Bio-Data Form and provide all relevant information.
- Indicate your Scratch Card Pin Number for ‘O’ Levels verification (e.g., WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB). For subjects with awaiting results, indicate so and update the information later.
- Note that original copies of credentials will be verified during the physical screening at the Faculty/Central levels to ensure qualification for the chosen course.
Important Notes:
- Consistency in name and picture across registration documents is mandatory and any inconsistency may result in disqualification.
- Candidates must be 16 years of age or above to be eligible for the exercise.
- Prohibited items such as mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices are not allowed at the screening venue.
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can still apply, but the results must be available at the time of resumption.
- O’Level results must be uploaded on the JAMB website promptly as failure to do so will disqualify the candidate from admission consideration.
- Registration is strictly online, and physical presence on the university campus is not required.
- Candidates who initially selected ATBU as their second choice can apply for the Screening Exercise only after changing ATBU to their first choice.
Venue for the Screening:
- The screening venue will be indicated on the candidates’ registration slip.
