Following the crisis rocking the People Democratic Party (PDP) over calling for the resignation of its national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
The Party NEC who had meeting earlier today has taken its stand to pass vote of confidence retaining him as its national chairman.
Goldennewsng reports that the National Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday, passed a vote of confidence in the National Chairman of the party, Ayu, suggesting that the party chairman will not be stepping down any time soon.
There have been calls by some members of the party that Ayu should step down as the chairman of the PDP.
Meanwhile, at the PDP National Executive Council Meeting today in Abuja, the party further reposed its confidence in Ayu.
