Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Biafra warlord and former beauty queen, has praised Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Goldennewsng reports that she claimed that Obi was the man who ended the long-standing tradition of godfatherism in Anambra State.

In an interview with journalists shortly after hosting Mr. Obi, who paid her a courtesy visit on Friday, Mrs. Ojukwu disclosed this as part of his political efforts to improve his chances of winning the eagerly awaited 2023 general election.

She claims that Obi, the first governor of Anambra State to serve two terms, did a number of significant things during his time as governor, including bringing an end to the godfatherism era in the state. She added that Obi was able to accomplish that feat despite being confronted by one of Nigeria’s most successful politicians.

Mrs. Ojukwu, who also posted a post and photos about the visit on her Facebook page, summed up the essence of Obi’s courtesy visit by describing it as a sort of homecoming and revealing that he (Obi) talked about his hopes and dreams for the country.

While discussing his plans to revitalize the economy, the former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain added that Obi also lamented the suffering of the masses and the lack of youth employment opportunities.
