Here is a Break Down Of All APC Presidential Aspirants And The Decision They Took At The Primaries.
The presidential primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are still taking place in Abuja’s Eagle Square.
Presidential candidates were given one last chance to persuade delegates to vote for them just before voting began in the primaries.
While some used it to speak with the delegates, others used it to announce their withdrawal from the race for their preferred aspirant.
APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was able to get seven presidential aspirants to step down for him, while only one stepped down for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
However, Ahmad Lawan, Rotimi Amaechi, Yahaya Bello and some others refused to withdraw from the race.
