Finally, Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr Sacked
A report monitored on Omasports by GoldenNewsNg, says the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has dismissed Gernot Rohr as the head coach of the Nigerian national football team popularly known as the Super Eagles.
This online news platform understands that Gernot Rohr sacked despite his team progressing to Africa’s 2022 World Cup play-offs.
GoldenNewsNg reports that the Super Eagles being three-time African champions, finished top of Group C despite being held 1-1 by Cape Verde in Lagos on Tuesday.
The sacked Gernot Rohr was appointed head coach of the Super Eagles in August 2016 and led the team to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
