Senate Passes President Buhari Npower/ NSIP Program Bill
As of today 2 April 3023 lates Npower News, we will be talking about Npower NSIP Programs Bill as the present Administration prepare to transit power to the new Administration.
In line with that, Senate has also Passed President Muhammadu Buharis National Social Investment Program, Bill. The National Social Investment Program (N-SIP) Bill has passed its third (3rd) reading in the Senate. A progressive development.
The bill is now waiting for the approval of the presidency to become law.
National Social Investment Program (N-SIP) comprises the following programs:
- N-power
- Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT)
- Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program (GEEP)
- National Home Growth School Feeding (NHGSFP)
What this means is that the Bill seeks to establish the National Social Investment Programme Agency for the management and implementation of the National Social Investment Programs. The Bill if enacted will provide the necessary statutory backing.
