It seems like the lock down was very favorable to the comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as AY because he seems uninterrupted by it. While everyone was complaining that the lock down had disrupted their business activities and career, AY organized the first of its kind online comedy show hosting thousands of Nigerians and making them laugh.
Afterwards, many other celebrities started doing stuffs online to gain public attention because there was a surge in the number of people that were online trying to fight boredom. Now, shortly after the lock down was partially lifted AY told is fans that he has launched a “Quarantine Diaries” on YouTube.
The Quarantine Diaries is a collection of series of comedies to entertain Nigerians. Comedian AY probably came up with the idea and started making the video during the lock down. His hard work and resilience seems to have paid off as fans were enthusiastic about his new series.
In no distant time, the Quarantine series may favorably compete with the more established Jennifa’s Diary which is a household name.
