Job Title: Contact Centre Agent

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • The Contact Centre Agent will be primarily responsible for answering incoming calls from customers who want to place orders, respond to inquiries, manage complaints, troubleshoot significant customer service problems, and provide general information.
  • You will be a member of the primary contact team for consumers interested in the products we offer and will be responsible for assisting them in completing purchases online and over the phone.
  • You will also inform customers of the product terms and features and project a professional company image through voice and online interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Identify and escalate issues to supervisors.
  • Provide product and service information to customers.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Research, identify and resolve customer complaints using applicable software.
  • Process orders, forms, and applications.
  • Route calls to appropriate resources.
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
  • Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls.
  • Manage and update customer databases with the status of each customer.
  • Provide customers with brochures and information packages on products or services.
  • Build customer loyalty by follow-up of customer calls.
  • Evaluate the problems of the customers and provide logical lasting solutions.
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Complete call logs and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualification

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc in any discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years experience as a Contact Centre Agent.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • Empathy
  • Must be very patient.
  • The agent is required to understand the company and clients’ products and services in a timely manner.
  • Must be resident within Ajah/Sangotedo axis.
