Update Npower Batch C Stream 1 and 2 Commencement Date

GoldenNewsNg gathered that  the Federal Government announced that the N-Power Batch ‘C’ Program has been separated into two streams, according to Sadiya Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.

According to Farouq, the total number of beneficiaries for Batch C will be divided into two Streams, each with 500,000 people. Subscribing to this Ejes Gist Nigeria’s updates will keep you up to date on Npower Batch C Stream 1 & 2.

N-Power Batch ‘C’ was included in the 2021 budget. Although this may not be the case for prior N-Power Batch A and Batch B beneficiaries, as an external loan to fund the deficit budget to operate the NEXIT programme for Batch A and B exiting beneficiaries is on the way.

When is N-Power Batch C Stream 1 & 2 Commencement Date?

The one million N-Power Batch C selected beneficiaries (Stream I and II) would start seeing their posting once the budget for the two Streams in Batch C program is approved by the Senate. The budget approval date has not been announced yet.

The Federal Government on Thursday dismissed reports that all outstanding payments of the N-Power beneficiaries has yet to be paid.

Goldennewsng reports that this was made known by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq.

Speaking in Abuja during a workshop organised by the ministry on effective media reporting of the humanitarian sector, Sadiya Farouq said all the issues of N-Power backlog has been settled.

“We have sorted that out with the office of the Accountant General of the Federation,” she said.

“It has been a very tedious process but as at the last count, we have paid all the beneficiaries after the series of processes.

“Now, we have moved to the Batch C. Currently, the Ministry is about concluding the enrollment of 1,000,000 Batch-C applicants in two streams of 500,000 in the first instance and another 500,000 later.

“For the Batch A and B, as you are aware, they have exited and they have been put into programme in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria for them to be engaged in meaningful employment or trade.”
