Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has spoken about the debt he acquired as governor.
Goldennewsng reports that he made the disclosure that the state owes N407.32 billion.
The Governor informed traditional rulers at their monthly meeting on Thursday in the traditional rulers chamber of the State Government Secretariat that his predecessor must explain why the state owes N76 billion in salaries and pensions despite receiving N50 billion as salary bailout.
According to him, the state owed N331.32 billion, while workers owed N76 billion in wages and pensions.
