Direct Link to Apply for Nigerian Air Force DSSC 34/2025 Enlistment

 

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially opened its online portal for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 Enlistment, inviting qualified graduates and postgraduates across the country to apply.

The DSSC enlistment provides an opportunity for young Nigerians with professional and academic qualifications to serve in the Air Force as officers. Unlike the regular recruitment exercise, DSSC is tailored for degree holders who want to build a career in the military through a shorter commissioning process.

Applications are free of charge and must be submitted online only through the official recruitment portal:

Applicants are strongly advised not to fall victim to fraudsters, as the Nigerian Air Force has emphasized that the enlistment process is completely free.

Application Period

  • Start Date: Wednesday, 27th August 2025

  • Closing Date: Tuesday, 7th October 2025

Late entries will not be accepted after the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the DSSC 34/2025 enlistment, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. Nationality & Age

    • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

    • Age: 20–32 years (General Applicants).

    • Medical Consultants: 25–40 years.

  2. Physical & Medical Requirements

    • Height: Minimum 1.66m (men) and 1.63m (women).

    • Applicants must be physically, medically, and psychologically fit.

    • No criminal record.

  3. Academic Requirements

    • Minimum of Second Class Upper for degree holders or Upper Credit for HND holders.

    • MSc/MA, professional certifications, and computer literacy are added advantages.

    • Must have five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.

    • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter is mandatory.

  4. Professional Requirements (Medical Applicants)

    • Evidence of registration with statutory professional bodies in Nigeria is required.

Documents to Submit

After completing the online form, applicants must print and submit the following:

  • Acknowledgment Form

  • Parent/Guardian Consent Form

  • Local Government Area Attestation Form (signed by relevant authorities)

Next Stage – Screening & Test

Applicants who meet the requirements will be invited for a Zonal Aptitude Test. Details of the test date and venue will be announced on the recruitment portal.
