The school management has announced to the general public, particularly prospective students, that the JAMB cut-off mark for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in the 2023/2024 academic session is 180.

This means that all candidates who participated in the 2023 JAMB examinations and scored 180 and above are eligible to purchase the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post-UTME form. Read on for more details about the departmental cut-off mark.

Departmental Cut-Off Mark at Federal Polytechnic Nekede

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede has released the cut-off marks for all departments. Prospective students of this institution are required to meet the specific cut-off mark for their preferred course of study to be considered eligible for admission.

In other words, candidates who took the 2023 JAMB examination and have met the required cut-off mark have a great chance of being admitted to the school.

Calculating Aggregate/Screening Score

Prospective students who participated in the Post-UTME/screening exercise at Federal Polytechnic Nekede should know how to calculate their aggregate score. Here are some tips on how to go about it:

  1. Divide your JAMB score by 8.
  2. Divide your post-UTME score by 2.
  3. Add both scores together.

For example: If you scored 200 in JAMB and 50 in post-UTME, the calculation would be as follows:

200 ÷ 8 = 25 50 ÷ 2 = 25 25 + 25 = 50

Please note that some institutions may consider only the post-UTME results for admission, while others take into account the O’level and JAMB results as well.
