WHAT IS FRSC ?

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is a Nigerian government agency responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Nigerian roads. It was established in 1988 through the Federal Road Safety Commission Act, Cap 141 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria. The agency is charged with the responsibility of preventing and minimizing accidents on Nigerian roads, promoting safe driving practices, and educating road users on the importance of road safety.   • Corps Commander: ₦966,761 per annum
  • Deputy Corps Commander: ₦888,956 per annum
  • Assistant Corps Commander: ₦483,014 per annum
  1. Inspectors:

Inspectors are the next rank below officers and are responsible for enforcing road safety regulations. The following are the different ranks of inspectors and their salaries:

  • Principal Marshal Inspector: ₦486,303 per annum
  • Senior Marshal Inspector: ₦419,28 per annum
  • Marshal Inspector I: ₦300,535 per annum
  • Marshal Inspector II: ₦254,004 per annum
  1. Road Marshal Assistants:

Road Marshal Assistants are the lowest-ranking officers in the FRSC, and their salaries are the lowest. The following are the different ranks of Road Marshal Assistants and their salaries:

  • Road Marshal Assistant I: ₦216,783 per annum
  • Road Marshal Assistant II: ₦207,294 per annum
  • Road Marshal Assistant III: ₦167,233 per annum
