After revolutionizing through several phases from Econet to Celtel Nigeria to Vodacom and now to its present name Airtel, they have been offering attractive and mouthwatering data services to their users which have helped them stay in business till now.

That aside, do you need an Airtel unlimited data plan? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back.  In this article, we will discuss how you can activate an unlimited data plan on Airtel.

So, without much further ado, let’s get started!

How to Subscribe to Airtel Data Plans

Airtel offers a wide variety of data plans for its subscribers. This includes daily plans, weekly plans, monthly plans, mega plans, social plans, Instagram plans, YouTube plans, and 4G plans. You can choose anyone that best fits your internet needs and budget.

Below, you will get the list of all the data plans Airtel offers to its subscribers including their individual USSD codes at your fingertips.

Airtel Unlimited Data Plans

As a competitive data plans merchant, Airtel Nigeria offers a wide variety of data plans tailored to meet the internet needs of its customers. Each of these data plans varies from price to price.  They include:

Unlimited 10

The Unlimited 10 data plan can be activated for ₦10,000 and is valid for 30 days.  To subscribe to this data plan, dial *462*10# or *471#. This plan is suitable for small enterprises who are looking forward to making the most out of their data. On this plan, there’s a  Fair Usage Policy which means you can use up to 40GB during the validity time.

Unlimited 15

The Unlimited 15 data plan can be activated for ₦15,000 and has a validity of 30 days (1 month).  Dial *462*15# or *463# to subscribe to this data plan. This plan is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses in Nigeria. Subscribers can experience unlimited data from Airtel and a Fair Usage Policy that allows them to use up to 65GB during the validity period.

Unlimited 20

The Unlimited 20 data plan is the most expensive data plan on the list costing ₦20,000 only and is valid for 30 days (1 month). To subscribe to this plan, dial *462*20# or *351#. It comes with a Fair Usage Policy that stipulates that when 100GB of data is consumed, the data speed is reduced to 256kbps for the duration of the validity term.

The following unlimited data plans are unique because they are designed to meet the needs of a targeted audience and offer a large amount of data at a low cost.  However, let’s take a look at some of Airtel’s low-cost data plans and their various activation codes.

Additional Airtel Data Plans For Lesser Amounts

In this section, we’ll list some of Airtel’s different data plans that come at surprisingly low costs.

Airtel Data ₦100 Data Plan

For ₦100 only you can get an Airtel data offer of 75MB valid for 24 hours.  To subscribe to this data plan, simply dial *141*100# and follow the on-screen prompt to complete the process.

This is one of the basic plans available on Airtel Nigeria.  It is suitable for users who are on a tight budget and do not have enough money to buy a much bigger data plan.  With the ₦100 data plan, you can basically do a few things online except video streaming, downloading files, etc.,  as that may require too much data.

Airtel Data ₦200 Data Plan

Airtel offers a 200MB data plan which costs ₦200 only and is valid for 3 days.  To subscribe to this data plan, simply dial *141*200#. Meanwhile, for just ₦300 you can buy a data plan of 350MB valid for 7 days when you dial *141*300#.

These data plans offer a much better browsing experience compared to the ₦100 Airtel data plan. However, they are designed for only a few days of basic browsing and as such are not suitable for video streaming, online gaming, downloading files, etc., as these may consume your data within a few minutes.

Airtel Data ₦500 Data Plan

With ₦500, you can get Airtel’s 750MB data plan valid for 14 days.  To subscribe to this data plan, simply dial *141*500# and follow the on-screen prompts to activate on your device.

The ₦500 data plan is a moderate plan for average internet users with less internet usage.  If you don’t use data-consuming apps like Snapchat, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Messenger then this plan is specifically designed for you. It allows you to stay connected to the internet while maintaining a budget.

Airtel ₦1000 1GB Data Plan

Airtel’s 1GB data plan comes off at ₦1000 and has a validity of 30 days (1 month).  Available 24/7, you can subscribe to this data plan when you dial *141*1000#.

It is the right data plan for light-data smartphone users.  The Airtel 1GB data plan is suitable for browsing, downloading small media files, and average social media use.  It is important to note that constant/heavy usage will cause the plan to run out before 30 days.

If you want to have more access to social media and the internet, consider going for bigger data plans that can accommodate your needs. Check out some of the other Airtel data plans below.

Other Airtel Data Plans

In this section, we will discuss how you can activate the Airtel ₦2,000, ₦2,500, ₦3,000, and ₦4,000 data plan respectively.

For ₦2,000, Airtel offers you a data plan of 4.5GB which is valid for 30 days.  To subscribe to this data plan, dial *141*2000# and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

You can get the 6GB data plan for ₦2,500 which is valid for 30 days. To subscribe to this data plan, dial *141*2500# and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase.

For more data options on Airtel, you can go for the 8GB data plan for ₦3,000 and it’s valid for 30 days. The subscription code for this data plan is *141*3000#. Once you dial, follow the onscreen prompt to complete the process.

The 11GB data plan comes at a cost price of ₦4,000 only and is valid for 30 days.  To subscribe to this data plan, simply dial *141*4000# and follow the prompt on your screen.  There’s also a 3GB data plan valid for 30 days at ₦1,500 on Airtel.  Dial *141*1500# to activate the data plan.
