Armed bandits have again struck villages in Taraba State, with at least sixteen lives lost while many villages were sacked.
Goldennewsng reports that the attack which took place this weekend was confirmed by Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman.
A civil servant, Abdullahi Chul, who disclosed the attack stated that the communities invaded by the attackers are Gidado and Garinkuka villages in Gunduma district of Mutum-Biyu chiefdom in Gassol Local Government Area.
The PPRO, Abdullahi further disclosed that men of the command anti-banditry unit have been sent to the communities to restore order.
