The state’s attack on INEC facilities has been discussed by the Imo State Police Command.
Goldennewsng reports that the police connected the assault on the Free Public Electing Commission, INEC, in Imo State on the Native Nation of Biafra, IPOB.
Mike Abattam, the Command’s spokesman, said that the gunmen who attacked INEC’s office in the state were IPOB members.
Abattam expressed examinations concerning the assault showed that IPOB individuals were dependable.
They’re thought to belong to the Indigenous People of Biafra. Those who will be held liable will be determined by the results of our investigation.
We pursued them vigorously. We were able to neutralize three of them as a result of the Command’s tactical teams following them, he told Channels TV.
According to the Daily Post, an unidentified group of gunmen attacked the INEC office in Owerri, Imo State.
There were a total of three suspects killed in the incident on Monday.
