Maintaining a social media account especially for a celebrity is not an easy task. An ordinary person can manage to keep the account active but a celebrity has to do a lot more than just making post on social media. That is why actress Iyabo o is on the ropes now.
Being a celebrity, it is not professional for her to handle her social media account all by herself just like Iyabo Ojo did when she shared a post on her Instagram wall to celebrate the birthday of another celebrity Helen Paul. Many other celebrities had wished Helen Paul a happy birthday through their social media handles without any hitches but actress Iyabo’s own was different.
In wishing her a happy birthday the actress added that “may you forever be relevant, successful and happiness”. It was suppose to be that Helen Paul may be forever relevant, successful and happy and not happiness as Iyabo Ojo wrote and shared on her Instagram wall.
The grammatical blunder drew harsh criticism by some Nigerians who felt that some celebrities are being unprofessional in handling public relations issues which is very important to keep their personal brand going. They cited actress Funke Akindele’s embarrassing arrest case in which nothing was done to manage the image problem created.
