Festus Keyamo, the Chief Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has made fun of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate for president.
Goldennewsng reports that Keyamo made fun of Atiku for meeting with British officials.
Remember that Atiku had a meeting with the Secretary of State for the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, James Cleverly, and the Minister for Development and Africa in the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), Andrew Mitchell, yesterday.
Before returning to the nation on January 12, the former Vice President would also meet with Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, on Wednesday (today).
Keyamo tweeted his response on Thursday using his verified Twitter handle. He said that Atiku met with junior British government officers who were acting in private and tricked Nigerians into thinking he was on some kind of official visit.
The Minister of State for Labor and Employment went on to say that Bola Tinubu, the face of the APC, is meeting with actual voters all over the county and that no one should be surprised by the results of the presidential election.
He penned: Our own @officialABAT is meeting the actual voters here, while other candidates are meeting with junior officers in the UK on a private basis and convincing Nigerians that they are on official visits. Let no one be surprised by the election result!
Whilst some other candidates are meeting with junior officers in the UK in private capacities and hoodwinking Nigerians that they are on some kind of official visits, our own @officialABAT is meeting the real voters here. Let the result of the election not shock anyone! pic.twitter.com/tmO9jpp7HJ
