About the Role
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and join a rapidly growing global organization by establishing an efficient talent pipeline for all positions within the program. What You Will Do
- Collaborate with hiring managers and their teams to oversee recruitment efforts.
- Partner with department leaders and the People team to manage internal hiring endeavors, including the assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.
- Utilize social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions and identify future talent needs, proactively recruiting and sourcing candidates.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process and life-cycle, encompassing initial assessments, interviews, and job offers.
- Provide valuable insights and employment data to guide hiring managers and decision-makers.
- Manage relationships with recruiters, academic and professional groups, and engage with a broader audience through targeted outreach using social media and other channels. This includes coordinating on-campus recruiting, participating in job fairs, attending conferences, and exploring other opportunities to connect with individuals interested in the for-profit education sector.
- Prioritize a candidate-centric approach, coaching and mentoring a team on meticulous candidate management, using an applicant tracking system to monitor applicants from the selection phase to onboarding.
- Develop and implement various hiring strategies and initiatives, such as talent attraction, employer branding, outreach and partnership programs, and internships.
- Continuously review and improve existing processes, focusing on quality of hire, time to hire, and overall candidate experience.
What You Should Have
- A bachelor’s degree with an outstanding academic record.
- 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong preference for experience in high-growth situations.
- Extensive experience in headhunting and direct recruitment, particularly in the context of building diverse teams.
- Prior involvement with fast-paced, metrics-driven Talent Acquisition organizations (in-house/corporate or agency), including the design and implementation of talent acquisition solutions that encompass talent attraction and outreach programs for building long-term talent pipelines.
- Curiosity, determination, and a relentless drive to identify talent throughout Nigeria.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, showcasing the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations to establish hiring partnerships.
