Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu’s trial is set to take a new dimension. Newsone reports that Justice John Tsoho, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, has hinted on changing the venue for the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court Abuja, has fixed April 8 for ruling on a preliminary objection filed by the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, challenging the validity of the 15 amended charges filed against him by the Federal Government. Justice Nyako fixed the date after counsel for Kanu, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) as well as prosecution counsel, Shuaibu Labaran, had adopted arguments for and against the defendant’s preliminary objection.

Court papers filed by the Kenyan Attorney-General have shown that the repatriation of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria was illegal.
This was disclosed by a brother to the detained IPOB leader, Kanunta Kanu, according to a statement issued by Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s special counsel.

The Department of State Services, DSS, has disclosed why it refused Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, from changing his clothes.
