It seems that more Nigerian singers are beginning to speak about marriage and it is sounding unpleasant to many ears. The latest celebrity to do that is music old boy Edrees Abdulkareem who have maintained a firm presence in the Nigerian music industry. The singer who took a long break from the music industry was dragged back to the scene by younger musicians who felt that his influence is still important.
With the entertainment industry facing its most difficult moment in the Nigerian musical industry, the least expected advise from top celebrity like Edrees Andulkareem is a marriage tip. But he did just that. The celebrity told his fans on Friday that money only impresses lazy girls.
But a contrary view was earlier put forward by another celebrity and musician Mr P who was of the view that men should not expect so much from ladies before they get married. According to him a man can marry any lady so long as he is able to build her into what he wants.
The view of singer Mr P seems to be more acceptable to ladies than those of Edrees Abdulkareem which appeared quite critical of ladies.
