The Npower beneficiaries are requesting the Minister of Ministry Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, to ensure the prompt completion of all pending stipend payments before her tenure ends. The N-power program was established by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in 2016 to equip Nigerian youths with employability and entrepreneurship skills.

As the current administration under President Buhari is concluding in May 2023, the Npower beneficiaries are urging the Minister to resolve all outstanding payment issues before she leaves office.

Recently, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, stated that since the Npower program was initiated by the APC (All Progressives Congress) government, it will continue under the incoming APC leadership. While the backlog payment for beneficiaries who have already validated their account details is currently underway, the Npower management has apologized for the delay in disbursing stipends for the months of January, February, March, and April. They have requested beneficiaries to exercise patience as payments will be initiated soon.
