Npower beneficiaries are urging the Minister of Ministry Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, to ensure the timely completion of all pending stipend payments before the end of her tenure. The N-power program, initiated in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, aims to equip Nigerian youths with employability and entrepreneurship skills.
As the current administration under President Buhari concludes in May 2023, Npower beneficiaries are appealing to the Minister to address all outstanding payment issues before she leaves office.
Recently, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, emphasized that the Npower program, which was initiated by the APC (All Progressives Congress) government, will continue under the incoming APC leadership.
