Requirements for Issuance of NECO Original Result Slips & Certificate

When you visit the NECO Offices to collect your original certificate, you will need to provide the following documents:

• Sworn affidavit
• Printout of your NECO Online Result
• One passport-size photograph
• NECO Photo card
• Identity card

Cost of NECO Original Result Slips & Certificate

• The cost of NECO SSCE External Candidates’ Original Result Slips is one thousand naira only (N1,000).
• The issuance of NECO SSCE External Candidates’ Original Certificate costs one hundred naira only (N100).

Guidelines for Payment and Collection of NECO Original Result Slips & Certificate

To obtain your original result slips/certificate, NECO External candidates must make a specified payment through the National Examination Council (NECO) online payment portal. Follow the guidelines below to make the payment successfully:

1. Visit the NECO Items Online Payment Portal at https://payments.neco.gov.ng/.
2. Select or search for the payment category or item you want to make payment for, such as Remarking SSCE or BECE, etc.
3. Obtain the payment item code from the NECO website at www.neco.gov.ng.
4. Verify your payment before proceeding to pay, as refunds are not applicable once payment is completed.
5. Fill out the form and proceed to payment.
6. Choose your preferred mode of payment: bank branch payment or debit card payment.
7. Review the transaction breakdown, read and accept the disclaimer, then click the confirm button to proceed.
8. Verify the payment details and accept the disclaimer by checking the checkbox.
9. After a successful payment, you will receive a payment receipt.
10. Present the evidence of payment at your nearest NECO office.

Note:

• You don’t need an account to make payments.
• A payment item code is required for any NECO payment.
• Ensure to verify your payment before proceeding to pay, as the money paid will not be refunded.
