Paris Saint-Germaine have confirmed that three of their players have tested positive for coronavirus.
The French Champions are due to face Lens in their Ligue 1 2020/21 season opener on September 10.
Psg did not confirm the identity of the trio, but leading French sports newspaper L’Equipe has confirmed Brazilian international Neymar Jnr to be one of them but say the player “feels very good.”
The Paris club stated that the squad will continue to be tested regularly over the next few days.
It was also reported that the three players were returning from holidays in Ibiza, Spain and will now quarantine for seven days.
The French league is currently underway but Psg, because of their run to the Champions League final, where they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich, were given an extended break.
