NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Send Strong Message to Loan Applicants
NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB) has issued a stern warning to applicants participating in various government schemes administered by the bank. NMFB, a licensed financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), provides and disburses loans for diverse purposes in Nigeria. If you are an applicant for NIRSAL Microfinance Bank loans, it is crucial to carefully read and understand this announcement.
The bank has explicitly cautioned applicants against making any payments to facilitate loan processing, emphasizing that it will never demand any payment from applicants to access its financial services. This advisory was communicated through a circular posted on the bank’s official Twitter page. The statement reads:
“NIRSAL Microfinance Bank will never ask you to pay money to access any of its financial services. The bank will never ask anyone to collect money on its behalf for the purpose of securing a loan or any of its financial services for that matter.”
Therefore, loan applicants should exercise vigilance if approached by any staff or agent soliciting payment to expedite the loan approval process.
It is advisable to share this information with friends and relatives to prevent them from falling victim to fraudulent schemes.
