1. Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: This award is specifically for applicants from NAOC Host/Transit Communities, such as Rivers State, Bayelsa, etc.
2. National Merit Award: This category is for applicants from Non-Host/Transit communities.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 O’ level credit passes (including English and Mathematics) in one sitting.
2. Applicants must be in their second year of study or above.
3. Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above.

How to Apply for NNPC Joint Venture Scholarship 2023:

1. Visit the NNPC/Total Scholarship Portal.
2. Click on “Apply for Scholarship.”
3. Select the “Click Here to Register/Login” button.
4. Enter your personal details to begin the scholarship registration process.
5. Verify that you are not a robot by selecting the Captcha box.
6. Click on the Register button.
7. Verify your email address in your mailbox.
8. Log in to your NNPC/Total Scholarship portal to continue the registration process.

Detailed Registration Procedure:

1. Provide your name, date of birth, and permanent home address. Upload a recent passport photograph.
2. Enter your email and mobile phone information. Please ensure you provide an active email and mobile phone number.
3. Enter your state and local government of origin. You will need to upload a certificate or proof of origin from your local government or state.
4. Select your university, course, and year of study. Upload your JAMB/University admission letter.
5. Input your JAMB score or CGPA. You will need to upload your JAMB statement of result and university CGPA. For second-year medical students, your JAMB score is sufficient.
6. Review your application to ensure all fields have been entered correctly. Upload all the required documents, including a recent passport photograph, certificate or proof of origin, Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE), UTME result, JAMB/University Admission Letter, and 1st-year result showing CGPA.
7. Please note that all applicants must have a valid personal email account for easy communication.

• The aptitude test will be conducted at designated centers, and applicants will be informed of the details at a later date.
• Applicants will bear the full cost of transportation to and from the aptitude test centers.
