NPC Enumerators Training Update Today
It is recommended that you attend the training location as there may be approved individuals who do not show up, some who do not possess Android phones, and others who are not permitted to participate, such as SSC holders.
Moreover, a test will be conducted at the end of the training to evaluate the performance of participants. If a person performs well, they will be deemed approved and qualified. However, it is possible that replacements may be required during the training, despite our best efforts to anticipate this possibility.
All qualified applicants will receive an invitation through SMS or email, containing their name, the venue, the date, and the scheduled time. This invitation has been sent already.
Update on the NPC Enumerators Training:
The training for enumerators and supervisors on building numbering and household listing in the LGA has been rescheduled to take place from April 11th to 17th.
It is expected that nearly 50% of those who are still pending may receive messages for census training. We advise those who are still pending to pay close attention to their messages.
If you receive a test message, please do not decline by stating that you are currently employed or have not been approved to attend the training. Please note that replacements may be needed on the first day, and it is important to attend even if you have not been approved yet. It is worth noting that some participants who were not initially approved were later approved after completing the training in the past.
National Population Commission gives an update on the 2023 census
The National Population Commission has announced an update on the 2023 census. The Commission has revealed that it will begin building numbering and household listing by April 17, followed by the actual census exercise in May. The training of enumerators will take place from April 25 to 30, 2023, for a period of five days. The Kwara state Director of NPC, Alhaji Sa’eed Yusuf, shared this information in Ilorin on Wednesday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria. Yusuf stated that the building numbering and household listing would be conducted nationwide, and the delay in training enumerators was due to logistics issues. Enumerators and supervisors will receive training in their respective Local Government Areas to ensure the success of the exercise.
