NPower Beneficiaries in Imo Seek Soft Loans

The Spokesperson for the beneficiaries of NPower scheme in Imo State, Williams Ugbo, says about 27,000 youths have benefited from N-Power and other social investment programmes of the Federal Government in the state.

The youths appealed to the government to provide them with soft loans to enable them to either start or expand their businesses.

The beneficiaries, who carried placards in support of the Federal Government’s programme and marched round Owerri, the state capital, said but for the NPower programme, crimes would have increased in the country.

Two other NPower beneficiaries, Emmanuel Ajah and Chioma Onyebiri, who said the scheme had changed their lives positively, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for lifting them out of poverty.

Npower Physical Verification Date & Requirements for Batch C

 

GoldenNewsNg gathered that , those that applied for the N-power Batch ‘C’ program and have successfully written the online test should get ready for N-power physical verification of documents.

Youth empowerment through NPower in North-Central zone

NASIMS is the central management platform for the administration and coordination of National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development. The inauguration was chaired by the Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq.

According to an elated Farouq, the inauguration was in continuation of the ongoing strategy by President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to lift 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years. She reminded the audience that Batches ‘A’ and ‘B’ had already been implemented, stating that the 500,000 beneficiaries would benefit in the first stream of the ongoing process for batch ‘C’, while the same number of Nigerians would benefit in the second stream.

Following the expiration of the ultimatum given by the 36-state representatives of N-Power volunteers plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria to fulfill all her promises to the exited N-Power beneficiaries, majority of Batch A and B volunteers are ready to storm the Federal Secretariat Complex, Shehu Shagari Way, Central Area, Abuja.

Recall that in a statement in March which was signed by Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, the National N-Power President, the council warned that failure of the federal agency to heed their request will mean they’ll mobilize 500,000 youths to occupy the ministry.

Owed N-Power Stipends: 9 Days After Nneka Ikem Announced Beneficiaries Have Been Cleared For Payment, Volunteers Still Haven’t Received Alert

One week two days after Nneka Ikem Anibeze, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development announced on her known Twitter handle that 8, 900 N-Power Batches A and B beneficiaries have been cleared for payment of their 5 months arrears of their stipends, independent findings revealed that the erstwhile volunteers have not gotten paid – till now.

An initiative resembling the famed N-Power scheme of the Nigerian Federal Government, Teach For Nigeria Recruitment is ongoing, GoldenNewsNg gathered.

Teach For Nigeria is a non-profit organisation which its founders say is “focused on eliminating educational inequity in Nigeria by placing future leaders to teach in underserved schools in low-income communities”.

NPower: NASIMS Web Portal To Ensure Timely Payment Of Stipends – Minister

The minister said that the NASIMS portal would give N-Power beneficiaries access to “a wide range of industry-specific content for leveraging enterprise learning, communicate their concerns & receive prompt feedback from the program implementation teams.”

She added that “the N-power programme is a critical component of the FG’s National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) & supports the FG’s vision of lifting 100 Nigerians out of poverty over 10 years. The objective remains to upskill young Nigerians for employment or entrepreneurship.”

She said that the portal would ensure transparency, compile a comprehensive record for the ministry, and ” dynamic impact assessment of the N-Power cluster, Batch C, thus providing seamless interaction between the programme and beneficiaries.”

NPower Registration 2021/2022  – Check April Enrollment Update

GoldenNewsNg gathered that the N-Power Volunteer Corps is the post-tertiary engagement initiative for Nigerians between 18 and 35. It is a paid volunteering program of a 2-year duration.

How to write your Npower Test 2021/2022

Here is how you can easily login to the NPower test assessment test portal

  • launch your browser and log to https://nasims.gov.ng/
  • you will have to Click on login
  • to get your password use the “Forgot Password” Option
  • hope you remember your email? Now Enter your N-POWER application email
  • next you should Click on “Send Link”
  • lastly open your email and see if you received a mail from Npower. Open the mail and click on the link sent to you. follow the instructions to reset your password.
  • by now you should be able to reset your password. Please don’t forget to update your records.

Npower Application Requirement

Candidates interested in the NPower program must have completed his or her education at any National Universities Commission (NUC) accredited University, Polytechnic, College of education or Open University.

This program also requires all applicants to meet up with the minimum academic qualification.

Npower Batch A & B to Get CBN Loan

Exited Npower volunteers Data would be collated and processed within some weeks, and further instructions would be given to volunteers.

But before you can participate in Npower there are requirements that you as a Nigerian must possess that will convince the federal government that you are fit and ready to be placed in such a program that will help elevate your social status a little.

How to Check Your Exit Package On Nexit Portal

  • With the aid of an internet accessing device, visit the official Nexit portal via https://nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng
  • Login to your dashboard (Using the email and password you registered with).
  • As soon as you are logged in, locate the ‘Check exit status’ button on the page. Once clicked on, the message below will pop up.

“Your update is still pending. You will be notified of the next steps via your registered email address”

Npower Volunteers Apply for FG Loan without Interest/collateral

 

GoldenNewsNg gathered that the Federal Government through the office of the Humanitarian Ministry and the Central Bank of Nigeria have commenced the Transitioning of Npower volunteers into a robust and reliable economic affiliate progreammes

Currently, the nexit portal is massively receiving applications, all interested volunteers have been instructed to key-in their interested by registering for the loan

Registration for the loan programme to officially ends within days, and collation of data will take some time, thereafter disbursement and further instructions will be made known to all disengaged volunteers.
