In today’s latest news regarding the Npower Program on Monday, May 23rd, 2023, we will address some of the common questions raised by Npower beneficiaries. So, continue reading to find the answers you seek.

We have noticed that Npower beneficiaries have been inquiring about issues such as Uncleared Backlog Payments and other related matters. To address these concerns, we have created this post to provide answers based on information received from the Npower management. Let’s begin by discussing the most frequently asked question by Npower Batch C1 beneficiaries regarding December stipends.

It is important to note that if there will be payment of December stipends for Batch C1 beneficiaries, it would be considered a gesture of generosity from the Minister, as Npower Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries have already completed their tenure in the Npower program, similar to Batches A and B.

Regarding the payment of outstanding stipends approved by President Buhari for NSIP beneficiaries, this includes the payment of January, February, March, and April stipends for Npower beneficiaries. Npower Backlog Payments refer to the stipend payments that have been delayed or postponed beyond their scheduled or expected date.

Additionally, it is essential to understand that the Npower monthly stipend payments are exclusively provided to beneficiaries of the Npower program. These stipends serve as a form of support while beneficiaries undergo training or work in their assigned placements. The purpose of these stipends is to cover basic living expenses and assist beneficiaries in achieving financial stability while acquiring new skills or fulfilling their assigned roles.

Lastly, the transition from President Buhari’s administration, the initiator of the Npower program, to the new administration led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will not impact the clearance of backlog payments for beneficiaries, as the funds have already been approved.
