Npower, a Nigerian government initiative aimed at addressing youth unemployment, has recently issued a warning to its beneficiaries. The management of the program has threatened to withhold the monthly stipend of any Npower beneficiary who fails to show up at their Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) for 45 days.

The decision was made following reports from the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation team, which revealed that some beneficiaries have been absent from their PPAs without any valid reason. The management of Npower has expressed concern over the issue, emphasizing the importance of beneficiaries fulfilling their obligations and responsibilities at their assigned PPAs.

Furthermore, the management has urged all beneficiaries, particularly those of the recently launched Npower Batch C2, to return to their PPAs and carry out their duties diligently. The success of the Npower initiative hinges on the contribution of its beneficiaries to their respective PPAs and the impact of their work in their communities. The management has also encouraged beneficiaries to seek guidance and support from their supervisors and coordinators in case of any challenges or issues that may arise.

In conclusion, Npower has reiterated its commitment to providing support and opportunities for Nigerian youths and has warned beneficiaries against jeopardizing their chances of success by neglecting their assigned duties. The program’s management has emphasized that compliance with the rules and regulations of the program is crucial for the realization of its objectives.

READ NPOWER MESSAGE BELOW :

“We are working tirelessly to ensure that beneficiaries stipends and those with backlogs are cleared and we also want to make it clear that any beneficiary, who is found absent in his/her PPA without official permission from his/her supervisor will be placed on payment hold for 45 days, Npower warns beneficiaries.

Furthermore, if at the end of the 45 days, there is no official clearance letter for re-instatement of the beneficiary by the State Focal Person, the beneficiary will be exited from the N-Power Programme.”
