Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has responded to Prof. A.B.C. Nwosu’s resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT).
Goldennewsng reports that wike stated that the PDP would be affected by Nwosu’s resignation.
He claims that the fact that Nwosu resigned validates the goals he and other G-5 governors have been working toward.
Wike stated on Saturday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, that the G-5 governors want equality for all people because no one should be treated as second-class.
He stated, ” Prof. A.B.C. Nwosu recently resigned from the party, claiming that his conscience would not allow it and that the party’s constitution is clear.
Look, you have taken this, let these people take that, and you are saying you will take everything, the people are saying. You will also have to deal with the consequences if you take everything.
In a letter to the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, Nwosu had given notice of his resignation.
