NYSC Call-Up Letter Is Out! Print Yours Here – What to Know Before Going to Camp

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the NYSC Call-Up Letter for 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II. If you’ve been mobilized for national service, now is the time to log in to the NYSC portal and print your call-up letter, along with the Addendum slip, which must be signed and submitted during camp registration.

Every year, Graduates serve in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for several important national, social, and professional reasons. The program was established in 1973 after the Nigerian Civil War, with the primary aim of promoting national unity, integration, and development.

 

This post will guide you through everything you need to know: how to print your letter, what to pack, when to leave, and most importantly, how to stay safe.

 

The NYSC call-up letter is a document from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to all Prospective Corps Members showing their State of Deployment, Date of Reporting to the Camp for the orientation exercise, Officer-In-Charge, and Address of Orientation Camp.

NYSC 2025 Batch A Stream II Orientation Schedule

The NYSC announced that the orientation camp for Batch A Stream II will commence Wednesday, June 11, 2025, across all states.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Orientation Start Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2025
  • Registration Window: June 11 – Friday, June 13 (closes at midnight)
  • Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, June 13, 2025
  • Camp Closure: Tuesday, July 1, 2025

This information was confirmed via the official NYSC portal countdown banner. If you’re posted in this batch, now is the time to get your things in order.

 

How to Print Your NYSC Call-Up Letter

Printing your letter is simple, but don’t make the rookie mistake of skipping any steps:

  1. Log in to the NYSC portal.
  2. Use your registered email and password.
  3. Navigate to “Print Call-Up Letter.”
  4. Download and print both the Call-Up Letter and the Addendum Page.

⚠️ Note: You must sign the Addendum and submit it at the camp registration.

If you can’t access your letter or it’s missing, check if you were mobilized or contact NYSC support immediately.

 

2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Prospective Corp Members are advised to re-print their Call-up Letters before proceeding to the Orientation Camps.

NYSC Update The NYSC portal is now open for 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members to print call-up letters.
For Online Registrants Corps members who registered online can print letters from the NYSC Portal.
For Other Registrants Members who didn’t register online to collect letters from their graduation institutions.
️ Printing Instructions Log in at NYSC portal, use your registered email and password, click ‘Print Call Up Letter’.
Health Advisory Corps members are advised to get immunized against cerebrospinal meningitis.
Prohibitions Members cannot bring vehicles, motorcycles, or bicycles to camp.
⚖️ Legal Notice Failure to report for service or ineligible participation could lead to prosecution.
Orientation Preparation Graduates should bring degree certificates, ID Cards, and professional licenses if applicable.

Prospective Corps members are expected to log on to the NYSC Portal to commence printing their Call-up letters.

Prospective Corps Members who did not make payment during online registration are to collect their Call-up Letters from their respective institutions of graduation.

How to Print NYSC Call-Up Letters

  • Go to the NYSC portal at http://portal.nysc.org.ng and then click on the Login here icon (https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc4/ResumePayment.aspx)

  • Login with your registered email and password.

  • Click on the ‘Print Call Up Letter’ link to access and print your call-up letter. click-print-nysc-call-up-letter

NB: Batch ‘B’ PCMs are encouraged as a matter of priority to be immunized against cerebrospinal meningitis before reporting to camp.
PCMs are not allowed to come into the camp with vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles.

 

Note:

  • Anyone who fails to report for service in the service corps as directed in his or her Call-up Letter and/or refuses to make himself or herself available for service in the service corps shall be prosecuted in line with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
  • Also, anyone who is not eligible to participate in the service corps or has been duly issued with a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but so participates or attempts to so participate shall be prosecuted in line with Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

Note the following ahead of the Commencement of the Orientation Exercise.

  1. Persons who studied in Nigeria should bring to camp: Degree/HND Certificates or Statement of Results, Personal Identity Card from the Institution of graduation.
    Foreign graduates should verify original copies of ALL their uploaded credentials and travel documents, including an International passport.
  2. Foreign graduates are to ensure that academic paper(s) in Languages other than English must be translated into English accordingly; both versions must be presented for verification at the camp.
  3. Medical/veterinary Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Public Environmental Health graduates should bring their professional licenses or certificates of full registration issued by their professional bodies.
