Pastor Essa Oggory of the Fulfilling World Foundation Church who went viral for cancelling a wedding in Port Harcourt because the couple arrived late is dead.
Few days back, a viral video captured the moment a bride broke down in tears as the congregation of the church ran helter-skelter, after the pastor who was supposed to wed the couple cancelled the wedding because they arrived five minutes late.
Reports had it that after much persuasion, Pastor Oggory decided to wed them in his office, however, this wasn’t possible and the couple had to wed in an hotel while the wedding was officiated by another minister.
In the latest development, Golden News NG has gathered that Pastor Oggory was actually very sick and he even flew down from Lagos to Port Harcourt, Rivers State just to wed the couple. He died on Tuesday, February 16 which coincidentally is the same day his wife died in 2020.
As of the time of filing this report, church members and fellow clergymen have taken to social media to mourn the pastor.
