On the occasion of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 80th birthday, Labour Party candidate Peter Obi wished him well.
Goldennewsng reports that Obi begged God to give Buhari, who turned 80 on Saturday, more happy, healthy, and fruitful years.
This was stated by the former governor of Anambra State in a tweet sent on Saturday under his Twitter handle.
“Congratulations to PMB @ 80!,” he tweeted.
I’m happy for you, Mr. President @MBuhari, as you turn 80 today. God bless you with many more happy, healthy, and productive years; and will always continue to bless and shield you and your family. President, happy birthday! PO.”
Meanwhile, on Buhari’s 80th birthday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, celebrated.
A statement that the vice president personally signed in Abuja contained the two individuals’ message.
“Happy 80th Birthday, Mr. President!” read the statement.
“Your unprecedented existence of flawless support of the country in the military, as a Lead representative, Clergyman, Military Head of State and as two-term Regular citizen President shows that it is feasible to serve the country and our kin genuinely, candidly and benevolently.
In the name of Jesus, “Dolly and I, the family, and I wish you many more happy years in peace and health.” Amen.”
