Unknown gunmen have attacked the Government Science Secondary School in Kagara in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State at about 3:00 am on Wednesday, February 17.
Golden News NG has gathered that the gunmen who are suspected to be armed bandits invaded the school at wee hours and abducted students, teachers and family members residing in the Staff Quarters. It is alleged that one of the students was killed during the attack.
Although reports of the incident is still very sketchy, it has been alleged that the student who died during the attack is named Benjamin S. Doma and hundreds of students who fled the screen haven’t been accounted for.
As of the time of filing this report the total number of those that were abducted is still unknown, however, pictures and a video of the bandits with those abducted is currently making rounds online.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to social media to express displeasure over the incident and have called on the government to do something immediately.
