Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has dropped her video for the #Silhouettechallenge, as she showed a funny side to the trend.
According to popular definition, a silhouette is the image of a person, animal, object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, with its edges matching the outline of the subject. The interior of a silhouette is featureless, and the silhouette is usually presented on a light background, usually white, or none at all.
The women dance under red lights allowing viewers to only see the silhouettes of their naked bodies.
Even though the red light only shows the silhouette, the wrong shade of red, as observed in some of the videos means people can see more than just a silhouette.
What even makes the trend more exciting are speculations that with the aid of virtual reality, viewers can see beneath the red lights.
Many celebrities have been joining the trend, and Funke Akindele made a surprise video for her fans. Sharing the video she wrote;
Spoiler alert, you won’t get to see the dance moves you were expecting. Her video started nicely, however, things took a funny turn when she got to the point where she was supposed to remove her dress.
