Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has joined other well meaning Nigerian celebrities to condemn the rape and murder of ladies in many parts of Nigeria. The past week in Nigeria marked a period known as the black Tuesday because most celebrities shared a blank post on their Instagram handle to protest the rape cases.
But actress Tonto Dikeh went a step further. After criticizing the rate of rape in Nigeria she went further to protest against it by campaigning that the Child Rights Act by implemented as the only solution to the rape crisis in Nigeria.
Many celebrities have proffered one solution or another to stop the ugly trend of rape in the country but none of their recommendations is as perfect as that of Tonto Dikeh.
She shared a photo on her Instagram handle in which she was taking part in a protest with a group of women seeking the enactment of the Child Right Act at all levels in the country to stop the raping of young girls across the country.
