UMYU Post UTME Screening Form For 2023/2024 Academic Session Released | Application Process, Date, Venue & Requirements

 

We are delighted to inform you that the long-awaited UMYU Post UTME screening form for the 2023/2024 academic session has been released. The form can now be accessed online via the UMYU website at www.umyu.edu.ng. Registration for UMYU Post UTME will commence in August 2023, with the closing date set between September 30th and October 31st, 2023.

UMYU Post UTME Cut-Off Mark for 2023

The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has set the cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session at 170.

Requirements & Eligibility for UMYU Post UTME

To be eligible to apply for the UMYU Post UTME, candidates must have scored 170 and above in their current UTME result and meet the university’s criteria.

UMYU Post UTME Screening Form Price for 2023

The UMYU Post UTME form is available for a non-refundable fee of 2,000 Naira only. Eligible candidates who wish to participate in the screening exercise should make the payment through the university portal.

UMYU Post UTME Screening Date for 2023

The specific screening date for the UMYU Post UTME will be communicated to all candidates via email and phone numbers provided during registration. It is important to provide valid contact information while registering.

Steps to Apply for UMYU Post UTME Form

To successfully apply for the UMYU Screening Form, carefully follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index to apply.
  2. Follow the instructions provided on the page.
  3. Upload all the necessary documents.
  4. Click on “SUBMIT.”
  5. Print the Screening Registration Slip.
  6. On the screening day, bring the original copies of the following credentials to the screening center:
    • O’ level results
    • JAMB result/acknowledgment slip
    • A’ level results, diploma, or IJMB (as applicable)
    • O’ level certificate/statement of result(s)
    • 2 Passport Photographs
    • Indigene letter
    • Certificate of birth/declaration of age
    • Payment slip

Important Things to Note About UMYU Post UTME Screening

  • Consistency in name and picture on the Registration Slip is crucial. Any inconsistency may lead to disqualification.
  • Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents must match.
  • Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or above to be eligible for the exercise.
  • Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar gadgets, as well as any extraneous materials, are not allowed at the Screening Venue and its environs.
  • Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission, provided the result will be available at resumption.
  • Candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB website as soon as possible, as those who fail to do so will not be considered for admission.
  • Candidates should register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
  • Candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues as scheduled on the Screening Exercise day.
  • Registration is online, so candidates are not required to be physically present on the University Campus but should register from any location.
  • Candidates who chose UMYU as their second choice and wish to be considered for admission can apply for the Screening Exercise ONLY after changing UMYU to their First Choice.
  • Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus on the screening exercise day.

Venue for UMYU Post UTME Screening 2023/2024

The screening venue for the 2023/2024 academic session will be indicated on the candidate’s registration slip.
