We would like to inform all prospective students of the University of Calabar that the cut off mark for admission has been announced. To gain admission into UNICAL, it is crucial to review the current UTME Cut Off Mark for all courses, which can be found on this page.

UNICAL has established the minimum cut-off mark for candidates applying for admission to the university. Meeting this cut-off point enhances your chances of being granted admission to UNICAL, provided your O’Level result meets the required standards.

As one of the top tertiary institutions in the country, UNICAL maintains a fixed cut off mark for all admission seekers. Applicants who have scored equal to or above this mark in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) are eligible.

UNICAL Cut Off Mark 2023:

The current UTME Cut Off Mark for UNICAL is 140. Candidates who selected UNICAL as their first choice during the recently concluded UTME are invited to apply for admission to their preferred department at the University of Calabar.

UNICAL also offers supplementary forms for candidates who did not meet the minimum cut off point for their desired department. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO Result, in addition to scoring at least 140 in the UTME. This serves as the current cut off mark for all departments at UNICAL. Those interested in applying for admission to the University of Calabar should familiarize themselves with the UNICAL Post UTME process and visit the UNICAL Portal.

UNICAL Departmental Cut Off Mark:

The Departmental cut off mark for UNICAL is 140 and above. Any subsequent changes to this cut off mark will be updated on the official website of the University of Calabar. Only candidates who selected UNICAL as their first choice are eligible to apply.

To stay up-to-date on UNICAL Cut Off Mark 2023, feel free to ask us questions and let us know the specific information you would like to receive regarding the University of Calabar’s cut off mark.
