The new president of the Christian Association of Nigeria has been hailed by All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, on Friday.
Tinubu congratulated Rev. Daniel Okoh after he was elected as the president of the christian body.
Tinubu, who is a former Lagos State governor in a statement by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, described the new CAN president as a “worthy successor”.
Rev. Okoh was elected on Monday to succeed the highly respected Rev. Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, upon completion of his tenure as head of CAN.
The statement was titled, ‘Tinubu congratulates Daniel Okoh, new CAN President’.
“Asíwájú Tinubu noted that the new CAN leader who is the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church is a worthy successor to Rev. Ayokunle whose tenure as CAN president was one characterized by exceptional commitment, principle and wisdom.
