Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vice presidential candidate, has slammed the Labour Party (LP)’s chances, stating that it is going nowhere, with less than 56 days left until the presidential election.
Goldennewsng reports that When Okowa led the Delta State PDP campaign train to the Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East Local Government Areas of the State on Friday, he made the claim.
In order to make it harder for the All Progressives Congress, APC, to win the election next year, the Governor urged PDP supporters to convince members of the LP to return to the party.
“We all know that the APC candidate is not good enough to be our president,” he stated. Additionally, we are aware that the Labour Party will not survive, and in order to avoid wasting their votes, we must sweet talk party supporters.
