Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president from the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has not yet been successful in persuading voters about the voters accreditation system (BVAs).
Goldennewsng gathered reports that this was said by Tinubu on Monday during his speech at Chatham House.
He stated, ” We are still gaining faith in our voting and democratic systems.
Before introducing a complicated component of ballot counting, “INEC is yet to assure us that during this election electronic transmission, the technology to be used for accreditation, and the total votes count are reliable, dependable, and assuring in our democratic process.”
The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, also voiced his concerns when he met with a Commonwealth Election Observation Mission pre-election delegation in Abuja last month.
“Our anxiety is that we are so prepared to convey a portion of these advances as respects transmission, since we’re making a significant stride in communicating political race brings about constant,” Adamu said.
