The management of UNIJOS encourages qualified and interested candidates to purchase the forms and apply for admission into the Pre-Degree Remedial Program for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Eligibility for UNIJOS Pre-Degree Admission 2023/2024

To be eligible for admission into the UNIJOS Pre-Degree program, candidates are required to have WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ Level results or their equivalent in the following subjects: Mathematics or Further Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and either Biology, Agric Science, Geography, Technical Drawing, or Fine Art. The Pre-Degree Science course is specifically designed for science students who wish to study courses such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Education, Medical Lab Science (MLS), Biochemistry, Science Lab Technology (SLT), Computer Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or any other single honors Degree course in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and other science disciplines.

How to Obtain the UNIJOS Pre-Degree Form

The application forms can be accessed online through the University’s website: http://mis.unijos.edu.ng upon payment of a sum of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only via Remita.

Account Creation and Activation

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Select the Programme Menu and choose Remedial Sciences.
3. Fill in the online account creation form, ensuring to provide a functional email and phone number.
4. Click on Register to submit the form (An activation link will be sent to the provided email. Login to the email and click on the link to activate your account and proceed with the registration).

Payment for the Application Form

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Click on LOGIN.
3. Enter your email and password, then click Log In (You will be directed to your personalized dashboard).
4. Click on Application Charge, followed by Pay Application Charges (A window containing payment details will be displayed).
5. Click SELECT PAYMENT.
6. Choose your preferred payment option (Bank Branch, Card, etc) and provide the required details.
7. Follow the prompts until the payment is successful.
8. Print the receipt upon successful payment. Additionally, print the other copy of the receipt sent to your email.

Personal Information Registration

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Click on LOGIN.
3. Enter your email and password, then click Log In (You will be directed to your personalized dashboard).
4. Click on My Profile.
5. Click on Add/Edit Bio-Data.
6. Complete the online registration, ensuring to enter all the requested information on all tabs: bio-data, result, sponsor, next of kin, as well as passport and signature uploads.
7. Click on Submit once completed (a form will be generated for you. Print and keep a copy for future reference).

UNIJOS Pre-Degree School Fees

For the 2023/2024 academic year, the University of Jos has introduced new charges as follows:

• Acceptance Fee: N30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira Only)
• School Fees: N70,000 (Seventy Thousand Naira Only)
• Total Charges Payable: N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira Only)
